NADRA certificates and what sits behind them
Pakistani civil records are now issued by NADRA: the computerised birth registration certificate, the marriage registration certificate, and the CNIC identity card. Behind a NADRA certificate there is usually an older local record — a union council entry, or a nikah nama, the marriage contract, often completed by hand in Urdu. Offices ask for one or both, and we translate whichever you have.

Nastaliq, written right to left
Urdu is written right to left in the Nastaliq style, in which letters change shape by position and handwriting varies enormously. A handwritten nikah nama takes careful reading, including the stipulation clauses that are often the most closely read part of the document.
Anything genuinely illegible on the original is marked as illegible rather than guessed at, and names are matched to the spelling on your passport.

A standard translation is for business or personal use where certification is not needed, such as CVs, client intake forms or marketing material, and is billed at $0.10 per word.
