eVerbary translates school documents from English into Tagalog for $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, by professional human translators: notices, newsletters, IEPs, report cards, enrollment forms and handbooks. What to know about Tagalog for school documents
Tagalog is the national basis for Filipino, the language of most Filipino families who read notices from schools. Many families also read English well, so a bilingual notice is common. Words with no everyday Tagalog equivalent, such as school terms, usually stay in English.
What we check in a Tagalog notice
- Tagalog or Filipino: the written language is the same for notices.
- Loan words: school and technology terms are often best kept in English.
- Respectful forms: notices use po and ho where a family would expect them.
What districts translate into Tagalog
The documents that go home most often:
- Parent notices and newsletters
- IEP and special education documents
- Enrollment and registration forms
- Report cards and progress reports
- Emergency and urgent notices
- Discipline and attendance letters
- Student handbooks and district policies
Each is the same $24.95 per page. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same, so ask for certification when a letter may be contested.
How a district orders
The district office opens one team account and invites schools and departments as members, with the office as admin. Staff upload the document, choose the language and place the order; a billing cycle set by the admin means they never need a card. Everyone in the team sees every order, so the next school finds the translation that already exists.
Delivery is a PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. For recurring notices, ask in the order chat to keep the same terminology from one month to the next.

Frequently asked questions
Do Filipino families need Tagalog notices if they speak English?
Often a bilingual notice is best. Order the Tagalog version and send the two together.
Who translates into Tagalog?
A professional human translator who works into Tagalog, followed by a second reviewer. Never machine translation. See how we translate.
How much does it cost to translate a school notice from English?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, into Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Arabic or any other language we offer. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same. Accounts that translated 20, 50, 100 or more pages in the previous month get 10%, 15%, 20% off.
Can the district be invoiced, and what are the payment terms?
Yes. Orders placed on account go on an invoice that carries your purchase-order number, due 30 days after its date (net 30), payable by card, check or wire transfer. We send a W-9 and complete vendor registration forms. Accounts can also be set to one invoice a week, every two weeks or every month. See invoicing and payment.
Do you also translate from Tagalog into English?
Yes. A student's Tagalog records, a family's letters and forms are translated into English, certified when needed. See Tagalog to English.
How are student records handled?
Stored in the United States and opened only by the staff on the order and the assigned translator, who work under confidentiality terms; deleted on request. FERPA obligations rest with the school and there is no FERPA certification for a vendor to hold, so we do not claim one. See security.
