Emergency and Urgent School Notices in Other Languages

Some notices cannot wait a day: a closure, a safety incident, a boil-water order, an outbreak. eVerbary translates urgent notices from English into the languages your families read, $24.95 per page, with expedited delivery at checkout and, for regular clients who ask, delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

$24.95/page

Up to 250 words, from English into any of our 60+ languages. Certified or standard, the same price.

24-hour standard

For 1–3 pages; longer files take proportionally longer. As little as 30 minutes on request for regular clients.

Invoice and PO

One district account, a PO number on the invoice, a W-9 on request, net 30 for orders placed on account.

Prepare before it happens

The slow part of an urgent translation is not the translating; it is finding out who can do it, setting up an account and agreeing a price while the notice waits. A district that already has an account, a PO number on file and a contact can send a notice in two minutes.

The strongest preparation is templates: a closure notice, a delay notice, a shelter-in-place notice, a health alert with blanks for the date and the reason. Translate those once now, calmly, and in an emergency only the blanks change.

What we can promise on timing

Standard delivery is 24 hours for one to three pages. Expedited delivery at checkout takes about half the time. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. Ask before you need it so the arrangement is in place; we do not promise a time for a stranger on a day we have not heard from.

For the first hours of a crisis, many districts also use an interpreter line or a text-message alert; we translate the longer written follow-up that goes out afterwards.

How a district orders

The district office opens one team account and invites schools and departments as members, with the office as admin. Staff upload the document, choose the language and place the order; a billing cycle set by the admin means they never need a card. Everyone in the team sees every order, so the next school finds the translation that already exists.

Delivery is a PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. For recurring notices, ask in the order chat to keep the same terminology from one month to the next.

Frequently asked questions

Can you translate a notice at night or on weekends?

Our hours are 8 AM to 11 PM Eastern. Ask on WhatsApp or in the order chat about the timing you need before you order.

Can I set up the account before an emergency?

Yes, and it is the best thing to do. The account is free, has no minimum, and the district can order with no payment step once a billing cycle is set.

How much does it cost to translate a school notice from English?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, into Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Arabic or any other language we offer. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same. Accounts that translated 20, 50, 100 or more pages in the previous month get 10%, 15%, 20% off.

Can the district be invoiced, and what are the payment terms?

Yes. Orders placed on account go on an invoice that carries your purchase-order number, due 30 days after its date (net 30), payable by card, check or wire transfer. We send a W-9 and complete vendor registration forms. Accounts can also be set to one invoice a week, every two weeks or every month. See invoicing and payment.

Is it machine translation?

No. A professional human translator in the United States translates every document and a second reviewer checks it before delivery. See how we translate.
