Translating Enrollment and Registration Forms from English

Enrollment is the first document a family sees, and it often decides how they feel about the district for the next year. eVerbary translates registration packets, home language surveys, emergency contact forms, medical and immunization forms from English into the languages your families read, $24.95 per page.

$24.95/page

Up to 250 words, from English into any of our 60+ languages. Certified or standard, the same price.

24-hour standard

For 1–3 pages; longer files take proportionally longer. As little as 30 minutes on request for regular clients.

Invoice and PO

One district account, a PO number on the invoice, a W-9 on request, net 30 for orders placed on account.

Translate the form once, use it for every school

A district enrolls the same family in different schools over the years, and the form is the same. With one district account the translated form is available to every school in the team, so the translation is bought once and reused.

When the form changes, send only the pages that changed; we translate what is new and keep the rest.

Home language surveys

The home language survey decides whether a student is screened for English-learner services, so its questions must mean the same thing in every language. A literal translation of "What language does your child speak most often at home?" can mislead in languages where the answer is not one word. We translate the intent of each question and flag any that need the district's attention.

The other direction

Families who enroll with records from abroad send transcripts, report cards, birth certificates and vaccination records in their own language. The same account translates those into English, certified, with grades never converted. See schools and districts.

How a district orders

The district office opens one team account and invites schools and departments as members, with the office as admin. Staff upload the document, choose the language and place the order; a billing cycle set by the admin means they never need a card. Everyone in the team sees every order, so the next school finds the translation that already exists.

Delivery is a PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. For recurring notices, ask in the order chat to keep the same terminology from one month to the next.

Frequently asked questions

Can you translate forms that parents fill in by hand?

Yes. We translate the form so that parents can read it. For the answers written back in another language, order a translation into English of the completed form.

Do you translate the whole enrollment packet at once?

Yes. Upload the packet, list the languages and we quote the total before you order.

How much does it cost to translate a school notice from English?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, into Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Arabic or any other language we offer. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same. Accounts that translated 20, 50, 100 or more pages in the previous month get 10%, 15%, 20% off.

Can the district be invoiced, and what are the payment terms?

Yes. Orders placed on account go on an invoice that carries your purchase-order number, due 30 days after its date (net 30), payable by card, check or wire transfer. We send a W-9 and complete vendor registration forms. Accounts can also be set to one invoice a week, every two weeks or every month. See invoicing and payment.

Is it machine translation?

No. A professional human translator in the United States translates every document and a second reviewer checks it before delivery. See how we translate.
