The template, not each student
Report cards are the same page for every child; only the grades and comments change. Translate the template once, with the grade scale and the standards descriptions, and each family gets a card they can read with the child's own marks. Ask us for a free quote with the blank template.
Teacher comments are free text. Districts with a comment bank send us the bank, and we translate each comment once, so a teacher chooses a comment in English and the family reads it in their language.
Grades stay as they are
A letter grade, a 1–4 standards scale and a percentage mean different things, and the family may know a different system. We translate the labels and the key and never convert a mark. If the family needs a note on how the system compares with the one they know, we add it as a translator's note, clearly separate from the grades.
How a district orders
The district office opens one team account and invites schools and departments as members, with the office as admin. Staff upload the document, choose the language and place the order; a billing cycle set by the admin means they never need a card. Everyone in the team sees every order, so the next school finds the translation that already exists.
Delivery is a PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. For recurring notices, ask in the order chat to keep the same terminology from one month to the next.

Do you translate individual comments for each student?
Yes, at the same price per page. For a whole grade level, a comment bank is cheaper and more consistent.
Can you translate a transcript that goes to another school?
Yes. A transcript sent to a school or college abroad is translated as a certified document. See transcript translation.
How much does it cost to translate a school notice from English?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, into Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Arabic or any other language we offer. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same. Accounts that translated 20, 50, 100 or more pages in the previous month get 10%, 15%, 20% off.
Can the district be invoiced, and what are the payment terms?
Yes. Orders placed on account go on an invoice that carries your purchase-order number, due 30 days after its date (net 30), payable by card, check or wire transfer. We send a W-9 and complete vendor registration forms. Accounts can also be set to one invoice a week, every two weeks or every month. See invoicing and payment.
