Exactness matters more here
Dates, deadlines, the name of the policy, the conduct alleged and the steps to appeal must be exact. A translator who softens a deadline or paraphrases a charge changes what the family does next. We translate these letters word for word and keep policy and statute names in English next to the translation.
Because these letters can become evidence, ask for the certificate of translation accuracy: it states that the translator is competent in both languages and that the translation is complete and accurate. It costs nothing extra.

How a district orders
The district office opens one team account and invites schools and departments as members, with the office as admin. Staff upload the document, choose the language and place the order; a billing cycle set by the admin means they never need a card. Everyone in the team sees every order, so the next school finds the translation that already exists.
Delivery is a PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request. For recurring notices, ask in the order chat to keep the same terminology from one month to the next.

Should discipline letters be certified?
It is not required for us to translate them, and certification costs the same, so for any letter that may be contested we recommend it.
Can you translate a letter in a few hours?
Often, yes. Expedited delivery takes about half the standard time. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
How much does it cost to translate a school notice from English?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, into Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Arabic or any other language we offer. A certified translation and a standard one cost the same. Accounts that translated 20, 50, 100 or more pages in the previous month get 10%, 15%, 20% off.
Can the district be invoiced, and what are the payment terms?
Yes. Orders placed on account go on an invoice that carries your purchase-order number, due 30 days after its date (net 30), payable by card, check or wire transfer. We send a W-9 and complete vendor registration forms. Accounts can also be set to one invoice a week, every two weeks or every month. See invoicing and payment.
