Pima at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Pima's international admissions page asks for high school transcripts and/or diplomas "properly translated into English" and does not restrict who translates (how to apply), so a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary meets it. Policy checked on October 21, 2026.

Pima requirements in detail
Translation
Copies of high school transcripts and/or diplomas, properly translated into English, for academic programs (International students: how to apply).
Who may translate
Not stated.
ESL students
High school records are not required for ESL training; you provide them when you move to an academic program (International students: how to apply).
Where to send
Questions and application documents to international@pima.edu (International students: how to apply).
F-1 deadlines
New F-1 and border commuter: fall July 10, spring November 10. F-1 transfer to an academic program: fall July 20, spring December 20 (International students: how to apply).
Foreign college credit
Foreign transcripts evaluated by Global Education Group or any current NACES member; the student pays; only needed if you seek a degree or certificate (Transfer to Pima: transcript evaluation).
Credit timing
Priority dates for official transcripts: fall July 1, spring November 1, summer April 1; evaluations take at least two weeks (Transfer to Pima: transcript evaluation).
Academic program or ESL: when the translation is due
Pima offers academic programs and English as a Second Language training, and the translation is tied to the first.
Its how-to-apply page asks F-1 applicants to academic programs, including border commuter students from Mexico, for copies of their high school transcripts and/or diplomas, properly translated into English.
Students who start with ESL do not send them at first; they provide them when they transition to an academic program after finishing ESL.
Because Pima asks for copies, the translation travels as a PDF with the copy of the original. Ordering it before you finish ESL avoids a delay at the moment you change programs.
Pima also asks for official bank statements with the affidavit of support, showing the account owner, bank, statement date, currency and balance; a bank statement page is translated at the same price per page.
Credit for college work abroad
For transfer credit, Pima accepts foreign transcripts evaluated by Global Education Group or by any current member of NACES, and the student pays for the evaluation (Transfer to Pima: transcript evaluation).
Official transcripts and evaluations are only needed if you plan to earn a degree or certificate at Pima; students taking classes without that goal do not have to submit them.
The agency sets the translation rule.
WES, a NACES member, wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not accept translations made by applicants; ECE accepts any complete, literal, word-for-word translation and sells an $85 waiver under which it translates internally for its report only.
Pima's priority dates for evaluation before the term are July 1 for fall, November 1 for spring and April 1 for summer.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Pima
Send the translation with the copy of the original to international@pima.edu, where Pima's international office takes application documents (International students: how to apply).
For credit, the translation goes to the evaluation agency; Pima's Registrar receives evaluations and official transcripts at Registrar@pima.edu or by mail (Transfer to Pima: transcript evaluation).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Pima that means we translate your high school records and bank statements; an evaluation of foreign college work for credit comes from a NACES member or Global Education Group.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
