Notarised, and in the state register
A Ukrainian power of attorney for most significant acts must be notarised, and it is entered in the state register of powers of attorney, where a revocation is also recorded and can be checked.
So a Ukrainian power can be verified and a revocation takes effect from its entry. We reproduce the register reference, which is what a counterparty checks.
Wartime powers, granted abroad
Since 2022 very large numbers of Ukrainians abroad have granted powers to relatives at home to handle property, documents and benefits, through consulates and, for defined acts, through remote notarial procedures.
A power issued that way may carry an electronic signature and a register reference rather than a wet seal. We describe the form as issued rather than treating the absence of a seal as a defect.
The term, and the default
A Ukrainian power states a term, and it also lapses on the death of either party or on revocation. Unlike the Russian rule, a Ukrainian power without a stated term is treated as running until revoked for many purposes, and the notarial practice is to state one.

Substitution, and the identifiers
An attorney may substitute another only where the power expressly permits it, and the substitution is itself notarised and registered.
