This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with a fictitious student. The PDF starts with the signed certification page, and the translation follows the original line for line: every abbreviation is explained, stamps, seals and signatures are noted in brackets, and the grid stays the same, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.
What to notice
- Two school years in the same grid as the original: every subject, grading period, exam and total, so each grade can be read against its maximum.
- The French rating abbreviations are translated (TB becomes VG, Very good), and every abbreviation is explained in a translator's note at the foot of the same page, including one the original never defines.
- Dates are written the US way (the original's 02/07/2015 is February 7, 2015).
- The photo, seals and signatures are noted in brackets where they appear.

What the international checklist asks you to translate
Trinidad State's international students page splits the process into two parts: general admission, then the international application with its documents, each reviewed as it arrives.
For academic records the instruction is specific: certified English translations of your official high school transcript showing your graduation date, and of college transcripts from any institution attended.
If the graduation date appears only on a separate diploma or certificate, translate that too.
Two more documents commonly need a translation.
Immunization records must show meningitis and MMR vaccinations, include day, month and year, be signed by a doctor, nurse or school official, and be translated into English (immunization requirements). Bank statements support the $24,000 financial verification.
Credit for college work abroad: NACES first
TSC's transfer page says it does not evaluate international transcripts directly: you work with a NACES member before submitting for transfer credit.
Only courses with a C- or better transfer, and grades do not count in your TSC GPA.
Agencies set their own translation rules; WES, for example, wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator, so the certified translation you send TSC can go to the agency too.

Uploading the translation to Trinidad State
