How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Randolph Community College publishes no translation rule: F-1 applicants request an evaluation of their secondary and post-secondary transcripts from a NACES member, and the agency, not the student, sends the report directly to the Office of Records, Registration and Admissions.
Randolph CC's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
You order the translation first and send it to the agency; the evaluation itself is something we do not provide.

Randolph CC requirements in detail
Translation
Randolph CC states no translation rule; foreign records reach it through a NACES evaluation (International students).
Who may translate
Set by the agency: WES accepts a professional service; ECE accepts any complete translation; The Evaluation Company wants an ATA-certified translator.
Evaluation
Of secondary and post-secondary transcripts, by a NACES member; the member sends the report directly to the Office of Records, Registration and Admissions (International students).
Financial
A notarized I-134 Affidavit of Financial Support with an original letter from the bank; no I-20 until it is approved (International students).
English
TOEFL iBT 65 with no section below 16, or another listed route (International students).
Health
Medical history and immunization record signed by a physician, and a dated TB test within 12 months (International students).
What the agencies ask for the translation
Randolph CC accepts any NACES member, so the translation rule is the agency's (international students). WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator or service, not by the applicant.
ECE accepts complete, word-for-word translations, including your own, and sells an $85 translation waiver.
The Evaluation Company accepts outside translations only from ATA-certified translators, which eVerbary can assign on request through a free quote.
Translate both levels: the secondary school record proves you can be admitted, and the college record is evaluated in the same report if you studied after high school.
The bank letter and the affidavit
The financial file is strict: a notarized I-134 Affidavit of Financial Support and an original letter from your or your sponsor's bank, showing funds for each year of study and any dependents; Randolph CC issues no I-20 until both are approved (International students).
The I-134 is in English. If the bank letter is not, include a certified translation with the original, and add notarization at checkout ($34.90 per order) only if you want it notarized as well.

Uploading the translation to Randolph CC
The translation goes to the NACES agency with your records; the agency sends the evaluation directly to Randolph CC's Office of Records, Registration and Admissions (International students).

What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Randolph CC that means we translate your records and bank letter; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you from the agency, which sends it to the college.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Randolph CC require a credential evaluation?
Yes, of your secondary and post-secondary transcripts, from a NACES member (International students).
Can I send the evaluation myself?
No. The member, not the student, sends the report directly to the Office of Records, Registration and Admissions (International students).
Which NACES agency should I pick?
Any member is accepted (International students). WES and ECE take a translation from a professional service; check the rule of the agency you choose.
