Pacific Northwest Christian College (PNWCC), in Kennewick, says official foreign transcripts must be translated, certified, and submitted with proof of US citizenship; it does not say who must translate.
Pacific Northwest Christian College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
PNWCC names no evaluation agency, and the final official transcript itself must still come from the issuing school, which we cannot send on its behalf.
PNWCC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
PNWCC's catalog asks for official foreign transcripts to be translated and certified, without naming who must translate (catalog, admissions process); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 28, 2026.

Sample translation: a Congolese secondary school transcript
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with a fictitious student. The PDF starts with the signed certification page, and the translation follows the original line for line: every abbreviation is explained, stamps, seals and signatures are noted in brackets, and the grid stays the same, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- Two school years in the same grid as the original: every subject, grading period, exam and total, so each grade can be read against its maximum.
- The French rating abbreviations are translated (TB becomes VG, Very good), and every abbreviation is explained in a translator's note at the foot of the same page, including one the original never defines.
- Dates are written the US way (the original's 02/07/2015 is February 7, 2015).
- The photo, seals and signatures are noted in brackets where they appear.

PNWCC requirements in detail
Translation
Official foreign transcripts must be translated, certified and submitted with proof of US citizenship (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Who may translate
Not stated (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Evaluation
No agency named; the Registrar evaluates transfer credit for equivalency and applicability (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Official transcript
Sent by the issuing institution to transcripts@pnwcc.edu, or hand delivered only if sealed in its envelope (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
To apply
A copy of the high school transcript with graduation dates; the final official transcript before you enroll (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
GPA
3.0 or higher admitted; under 3.0 takes ACCUPLACER or ALEKS placement; under 2.5 may get conditional acceptance (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Transfer credit
At most 30 semester (45 quarter) credits toward the Associate of Arts; college transcripts by the end of the first semester (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Foreign transcripts: translated, certified, and a citizenship document
PNWCC's admissions process has one line for records from abroad: "official foreign transcripts must be translated, certified, and submitted with proof of U.S. citizenship" (catalog).
The college does not name a translator or an evaluation agency, so a certified translation of the full transcript, with the grading scale and graduation date, is what you need.
The citizenship document is a separate requirement that the catalog attaches to the same step.
The rest of the file follows the usual PNWCC steps: a free online application, a copy of the high school transcript showing graduation dates (or a GED), and SAT or ACT scores only if you have them. For the school record, see high school diploma translation.
What counts as official, and what transfers
A transcript is official at PNWCC only if the sending institution sends it directly, by email to transcripts@pnwcc.edu, or if you hand deliver it sealed in that institution's envelope (catalog).
Applicants with more than 30 semester credits submit college transcripts only; those with fewer also send the high school record.
The Registrar accepts transfer credit that is essentially equivalent in level and content, counts at most 30 semester or 45 quarter credits toward the Associate of Arts, and records only the institution, credits and GPA on the PNWCC transcript.

What an eVerbary translation includes

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to PNWCC
Send your certified translation with the official foreign transcript and proof of US citizenship to PNWCC; the final official transcript must arrive from the issuing school at transcripts@pnwcc.edu or sealed in its envelope before you enroll (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For PNWCC that means we translate your transcripts and diploma; the official transcript itself must come from your school, and we cannot send it on the school's behalf.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does PNWCC require a certified translation?
Yes. Foreign transcripts must be translated and certified (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)). PNWCC does not say who must translate.
Does PNWCC require a credential evaluation?
The catalog names none; the Registrar evaluates transfer credit itself (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
What GPA do I need?
3.0 or higher for direct admission; under 2.5 may get conditional acceptance (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
How many credits can I transfer?
Up to 30 semester or 45 quarter credits toward the Associate of Arts (PNWCC Course Catalog 2026-2027 (PDF)).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
