How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College asks international applicants for the official high school transcript with its graduation date, translated into English, and wants both the translated and the original transcript; it does not say who must translate.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. College study abroad is translated and evaluated by The Evaluation Company for transfer credit, which we do not do.

NEO at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

NEO says transcripts must be translated into English, with both the translated and the original submitted, and does not restrict who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Worth knowing about NEO

Original and translation

Both submitted, and both brought on arrival.

Graduation date

On the transcript, or in a school letter.

August 1

Fall deadline; December 1 for spring.

NEO requirements in detail

Translation

High school transcripts must be translated into English; both the translated and original transcripts are submitted (Becoming an international student).

Who may translate

Graduation date

Must appear on the transcript; otherwise a signed letter from the school on letterhead giving the date as MM/DD/YYYY (Becoming an international student).

On arrival

Bring the original and translated transcripts; scanned or digital copies are not accepted then (Becoming an international student).

Immunizations

Records translated into English; unofficial translations accepted (Becoming an international student).

College abroad

The Evaluation Company translates and evaluates foreign college transcripts for transfer, sent directly to NEO (Becoming an international student).

Two copies of every transcript, twice

NEO wants the high school transcript in its original language and in English when you apply, uploaded with your online application, and again in person: you bring the original and the translation when you arrive, because scans are not accepted at that point (Becoming an international student).

The transcript must carry a graduation date; if yours does not, the school writes a signed letter giving it, and that letter needs translating too. No I-20 is sent until transcripts are in.

College credit goes through TEC

If you studied at a college outside the US, NEO sends you to The Evaluation Company to have those transcripts translated and evaluated for transfer, naming NEO as recipient; reports sent to students are not accepted (Becoming an international student).

TEC's own rule asks outside translators to be certified by ATA, so that step is between you and TEC. Vaccination records are lighter: unofficial translations are accepted.

Need a certified translation for NEO?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.

Documents applicants usually translate

  • High school transcript, with graduation date
  • School letter stating the graduation date, if needed
  • Immunization records
  • Bank financial statement, if not in English

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to NEO

  • Upload the original and the translated transcript with your NEO online application, and carry both with you on arrival (Becoming an international student).

  • We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For NEO that means we translate your high school records; translation and evaluation of foreign college credit for transfer is done by The Evaluation Company.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does NEO accept an eVerbary translation?

NEO asks for transcripts translated into English and does not say who must translate (Becoming an international student); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.

What if my transcript has no graduation date?

Get a signed letter from your high school on letterhead stating the date in MM/DD/YYYY format (Becoming an international student).

Do my vaccination records need an official translation?

No, unofficial translations are accepted for immunization records (Becoming an international student).

When are the deadlines?

August 1 for fall and December 1 for spring (Becoming an international student).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
