How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026
Tulsa Community College asks for the official high school transcript and proof of graduation from your home country with a translated copy, made by a certified third-party service; it names a local translation service as acceptable if the translation is certified or notarized.
Tulsa Community College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. College coursework from abroad also needs a course-by-course evaluation by a NACES member, which we do not provide.
TCC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
TCC says an English translation must be performed by a certified third-party service, such as WES, TEC/SpanTran or a local translation service, certified or notarized (submit transcripts); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary meets that rule. Worth knowing about TCC

College: course-by-course
From a NACES member; WES, ECE, TEC preferred.
TCC requirements in detail
Translation
High school: official transcript and proof of graduation or exam results, with a translated copy if not in English (Submit transcripts).
Who may translate
A certified third-party service, for example WES, TEC/SpanTran or a local translation service; a local service's translation must be certified or notarized (Submit transcripts).
Evaluation
High school: none stated. College coursework: a course-by-course evaluation by a NACES member (Submit transcripts).
Preferred agencies
WES, ECE or TEC/SpanTran, for college transcripts (Submit transcripts).
Recognition
All international credentials must be recognized by the Minister of Education (Submit transcripts).
Where it goes
records@tulsacc.edu, TCC Records Office, 909 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119, or any Academic Advising Office (Submit transcripts).
Timing
Applications open up to 120 days before the semester (international).
High school from abroad: a certified translation, no evaluation
For a foreign high school record, TCC wants the official transcript, proof of graduation or exam results and a translated copy, and it names who may translate: a certified third-party service, such as an evaluation company or a local translation service, with a local translation certified or notarized (Submit transcripts).
No evaluation is mentioned for high school. If you want the translation notarized as well, eVerbary adds notarization for $34.90 per order.
You can email the documents to records@tulsacc.edu, mail them, or hand them in at any Academic Advising Office. TCC can refuse a transcript or ask for more information if a document's authenticity is in question (Submit transcripts).
College coursework abroad: the agency sends everything
Previous college coursework works differently.
Students send original college transcripts to a NACES member for translation and evaluation, preferably WES, ECE or TEC/SpanTran, and the course-by-course report sets the US equivalency added to your TCC transcript (Submit transcripts).
The agency then sends its evaluation with a copy of the original transcript and the translated copy to TCC.
The agencies set their own translation rules.
WES does not translate documents and wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator; ECE accepts translations by anyone, including you, or translates internally for an $85 waiver; TEC wants an outside translator certified by ATA or translates in-house.
For TEC, ask eVerbary for a free quote and say it is for TEC: we can assign a translator individually certified by ATA.

- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to TCC
High school: email the official transcript and the certified translation to records@tulsacc.edu, mail them to the Records Office or hand them in at an Academic Advising Office (Submit transcripts). We can also send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.
College: the translation goes to the NACES agency with your transcripts, and the agency sends its report, a copy of the transcript and the translation to TCC (Submit transcripts).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For TCC that means we translate your high school and college records; the course-by-course evaluation of college coursework is ordered by you from a NACES member.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

A NACES member; WES, ECE or TEC/SpanTran are preferred, with a course-by-course report (Submit transcripts).
