LTCC requirements in detail
Translation
Transcripts from institutions outside the US, translated into English by a professional translation service (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Who may translate
A professional translation service.
Which transcripts
All high schools attended; holders of a bachelor's degree may send university transcripts instead (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Copies or originals
A copy of the original high school transcripts with a certified English translation (application checklist).
Medical record
TB screening from the last two years, officially translated into English or issued in English on the provider's letterhead (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Where it goes
The completed application by email to international@ltcc.edu (Apply as an international student).
Deadlines
Fall quarter August 18, winter November 20, spring March 10; athletes June 15 for early fall (Apply as an international student).
Evaluation
Not required for admission; coursework from outside the US is reviewed with a counselor.
A rule that names the translator
Most California community colleges only say "translated into English".
LTCC's International Student Information Packet goes further: you must show the equivalent of a US high school education with copies of transcripts from every high school you attended, or, if you have a bachelor's degree, from every university, and transcripts from institutions outside the US must be translated into English by a professional translation service.
The application checklist asks for a copy of the original high school transcripts together with a certified English translation (International Student Application 2026 (PDF)). For the school record, see high school diploma translation.
The same packet asks for a TB test from the last two years, officially translated into English or originally issued in English on the medical provider's letterhead; page 8 of the application can be used instead.
The personal letter about your goals must be written in English, signed and dated (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Money, quarters and transfer credit
LTCC asks for at least $25,000 a year, shown by an official bank certification dated within the last three months from an account of the sponsor named on the affidavit, plus a written statement from the sponsor; loans you intend to take, investments or mortgages do not count (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
If the bank issues the certification in another language, include it in your translation order.
The college runs on quarters, so deadlines fall on August 18, November 20 and March 10, with June 15 for athletes starting early fall (Apply as an international student).
Transfer coursework is considered only from institutions accredited by one of the six US regional accreditors, and students with coursework from outside the US are strongly encouraged to review their transcripts with a counselor before transferring (Apply as an international student).

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to LTCC
Attach the certified translation to the copy of each transcript and email the completed International Student Application to international@ltcc.edu with the $100 application fee arranged as the packet explains (apply page, packet).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Who can translate my transcripts for LTCC?
A professional translation service, according to the Information Packet (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)). eVerbary is one, and its certified translations meet that rule.
Do I need the original transcript or a copy?
A copy of the original high school transcripts, with a certified English translation (International Student Application 2026 (PDF)).
Can I send university transcripts instead of high school ones?
Yes, if you have earned a bachelor's degree, you may send transcripts from every university attended instead (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Does my TB test need to be translated?
Yes, unless it was issued in English on the provider's letterhead (International Student Information Packet 2026 (PDF, ltcc.edu)).
Will LTCC give credit for my courses abroad?
Transfer coursework is considered only from institutions accredited by a US regional accreditor; review your transcripts with a counselor first (Apply as an international student).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
