The catalog adds an evaluation step

AUM's website requirement lists are short: application, passport, the transcript sent by your school with an official English translation, English test and financial documents. The catalog's international section goes further. It says transcripts not in English must be translated by an official translation service, and that a transcript evaluation is required, done by a recognized, expert service or by qualified AUM staff in foreign credential evaluation.

For first-time freshmen that evaluation is document-by-document and must show at least a 2.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale. International transfer students need a course-by-course evaluation showing at least a 2.0. Students in programs under a contract between AUM and a foreign government, institution or agency are exempt. AUM's FAQ puts undergraduate processing at 5 to 8 business days and graduate processing at 2 to 3 weeks once every transcript, score, certificate or evaluation has arrived (FAQ).

Graduate applicants: transcripts from each school, never uploaded

The graduate requirements ask for an official transcript from each university you attended, mailed or e-mailed to AUM by that institution, plus official English translations where needed. Graduate Admissions prefers electronic delivery and says official transcripts are sent to its office, not uploaded through the application portal; for a transcript to count as official it must reach AUM from the school through a delivery service.

Programs add their own tests: the College of Business requires the GMAT, and the Colleges of Education, Public Policy and Justice, and Arts and Sciences require the GRE or the Miller Analogies Test, with scores sent by the testing agency. The catalog asks graduate applications to arrive four weeks before the semester unless a program sets an earlier date (catalog).

Where AUM's pages differ

The website lists mention only an official English translation and no evaluation, while the catalog requires both an official translation service and a transcript evaluation. The website gives application dates (July 15, November 15, April 15); the catalog asks for every document 45 days before the term. The catalog also lists transfer students with 24 US semester hours both as needing a course-by-course evaluation and as an exception. We have not resolved these differences; the Office of Global Initiatives at global@aum.edu can say which applies to you.

Documents applicants usually translate

What an eVerbary translation includes

Uploading the translation to AUM

Your school sends the official transcript to the Office of Global Initiatives by post, courier or email; send the official English translation to the same office, at P.O. Box 244023, Montgomery, AL 36124-4023, or global@aum.edu (source).

Graduate applicants have each university send its transcript, preferably electronically, to AUM; do not upload transcripts through the application portal (source).

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them. For AUM that means we translate your transcripts and diplomas; the evaluation the catalog describes comes from an evaluation service or AUM staff.
