The carné de vacunación
Salvadoran childhood immunisation is recorded on a carné de vacunación stamped at the MINSAL unit or health promotion team that gave each dose.
El Salvador gives BCG at birth and runs a programme with high recorded coverage. The card is what an I-693 needs, and applicants routinely send hospital paperwork instead.

Salvadoran medical documents carry the DUI number, nine digits, which stays with the person across a change of name and is the cross-check across the file.
