The diploma supplement is the transcript

The main record of a Kyrgyz degree is the supplement to the diploma (prilozhenie k diplomu), which lists each subject with its hours or credits and its grade. Since the move to credits, a bachelor's programme carries 240 credits and a master's 120, counted at 30 per semester as in the European system.

Students who left before graduating receive an academic certificate (akademicheskaya spravka) listing what they completed. Both are usually in Russian or bilingual. See our Kyrgyz university diploma page and our Russian page.

Grades, and evaluators

Grades are on the five-point scale — 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 satisfactory, 2 unsatisfactory — or pass/fail (zachet), and some universities add letter or percentage grades under the credit system. We translate the grade words exactly and do not convert them to US letter grades; that is the evaluator's job.

Evaluators such as WES often want the record sent directly by the university and use our translation alongside it. Ask the evaluator before ordering. See credential evaluation translation and our Kyrgyz page.

What USCIS requires

Under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), a foreign-language document must be accompanied by a complete English translation and the translator's certification that it is accurate. Every seal, stamp and marginal note is part of the document, so every one is translated.

State agencies set their own rules — see government agencies — and what our certification states is on this page.

How it works

Upload a photo or a scan of your document, pick the language pair and check out online. You never have to mail originals: a legible copy is all we need.

A professional human translator, never machine translation, translates the document word for word and mirrors the layout of the original. Every certified translation ships with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy that meets the requirements of USCIS, courts and universities.

Your translation is delivered digitally, usually within 24 hours for documents of one to three pages, and same-day delivery is available. If anything needs adjusting, we revise it.

Certified vs. standard translation

A certified translation is a word-for-word translation accompanied by a signed statement attesting to its accuracy and completeness. It is what official bodies require: USCIS, courts, universities and government agencies. Certified translations are $24.95 per page, where one sheet of your document is one page, with no word cap.

A standard translation is the same professional human translation without the certificate, for when you only need to understand the content or for internal or informal use. It is billed at the same $24.95 per page with no word cap.

Frequently asked questions

Is my diploma supplement the transcript?

Yes. It is the document that lists your courses, hours or credits and grades, and it is what an evaluator reads.

Do you convert my grades to a GPA?

No. We translate the grades as printed. Conversion is done by the credential evaluator.

I studied medicine. Is that a bachelor's degree?

Medicine stayed outside the bachelor–master structure introduced in 2011, so a medical diploma names a specialist qualification. We translate the title exactly as printed.

Is acceptance by universities, colleges and schools guaranteed?

Yes. Our certified translations are guaranteed to be accepted by universities, colleges and schools in the United States — and by USCIS, the NVC, courts, government agencies and employers — or your money back. The guarantee covers the translation itself, not the original document or the admission decision, and it covers credential evaluation agencies such as WES and ECE as well. Full terms are in our refund policy.
