The vekalatnameh, and the notary office
An Iranian power (vekalatnameh) is drawn at an official notary office (daftar-e asnad-e rasmi), numbered, registered and issued on a security form, and the office number and document number are both on it.
Those references are the verification path and a translation that drops them removes it. We reproduce them exactly.
Powers granted abroad, and the interests section
Iran is not a party to the Apostille Convention, and there are no Iranian consular services in the United States. Iranians in the US use the Interests Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Pakistani embassy in Washington.
That is the route, and a document then needs authentication by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is unfamiliar and it is what makes the document work. We name the issuing office.

Most Iranian powers in US files concern inheritance, property and marriage matters handled by relatives in Iran, and Iranian inheritance follows fixed shares that a US reader should not assume.
A power for such a matter travels with the inheritance certificate (gavahi-ye enhesar-e verasat). We translate the certificate with the power.
The Solar Hijri calendar, and the national code
Iranian dates use the Solar Hijri calendar whose year begins at the spring equinox, so 1404 spans 2025 and 2026 and a fixed offset is wrong for part of the year. Each date is converted individually.
