How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Spring Hill College asks that all documents be officially translated into English: secondary records come from the school in the original language, with a certified English translation, and foreign records are evaluated by a NACES member.
It does not say who must translate. Spring Hill College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES evaluation is something we do not provide.
Spring Hill at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Spring Hill's international application asks for secondary records in the original language and a certified English translation and does not restrict who translates (international application); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. The school sends the original, you add the translation
Spring Hill wants the original-language record and the translation side by side.
The original must be an official school record, sent directly to Spring Hill by the school and bearing its stamp or seal; certified copies are acceptable if the school sends them.
The certified English translation is the part you supply (international application). Translate every page of the record, including the stamps, so the admissions office can match the two. For the high school diploma, the same applies.
Where Spring Hill's pages differ
The international application page says every foreign secondary transcript must be evaluated by a NACES member, and that transfers with under 20 credit hours and/or a cumulative GPA below 2.5 also send translated secondary records (International application).
The international student admissions page limits the evaluation to schools that do not teach in English and puts the transfer threshold at under 20 credit hours alone (international admissions).
Ask Admissions which rule applies to you before ordering the evaluation.

Uploading the translation to Spring Hill
Your school sends the original-language records to Spring Hill; you send the certified translation to Admissions (the passport copy goes to admit@shc.edu), and the records with the translation to the NACES agency (International application).
On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Spring Hill that means we translate your records; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you, and the original records must come from your school.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Spring Hill require a certified translation?
Yes. Secondary records come in the original language plus a certified English translation, and all documents must be officially translated into English (International application).
Can I send my own copy of the transcript?
No. Original-language records must come directly from the school with its stamp or seal (International application).
Which evaluation agency does Spring Hill accept?
Any NACES member organization (International application).
Do transfer students send high school records?
If they have under 20 college credit hours, and on one page also with a GPA below 2.5 (International application).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
