How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026

Savannah Technical College asks international applicants for official transcripts with an English translation where needed, and separately for an official evaluation of foreign transcripts from a NACES-accredited evaluator, recommending WES; bank documents must be translated into English too.

It does not say who must translate; Savannah Technical College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The evaluation comes from the agency, and we do not provide it.

Savannah Tech at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Savannah Tech asks for official transcripts "with English translation if applicable" and does not restrict who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 26, 2026.

Two items on the checklist: the translated transcript and the evaluation

Savannah Tech lists them separately.

You submit official transcripts with an English translation if they are not in English, and you also provide an official evaluation of your foreign transcripts from a NACES-accredited evaluator (International students).

One certified translation can serve both: a copy goes with the transcripts to the Office of Admissions and another to the evaluator.

Savannah Tech recommends WES, which asks for an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not accept translations by applicants (WES). Translate the full high school diploma and grades, and any college transcripts.

Bank letters in English

The financial certification must come from the bank itself, not be self-generated, be on bank letterhead or certified by a bank official, show the account holder and currency, be dated within three months and be translated into English if necessary; several documents may be combined (International students).

Because of the three-month limit, translate the bank letter last, close to your submission.

  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to Savannah Tech

  • Transcripts with their translations can be mailed to Savannah Technical College, Office of Admissions, 5717 White Bluff Road, Savannah, Georgia 31405; the evaluator sends its evaluation separately (International students).

  • On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Savannah Tech that means we translate your transcripts and bank letters; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you, for example from WES.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Savannah Tech need a translation and an evaluation?

Yes: transcripts with an English translation, and an official NACES evaluation of foreign transcripts (International students).

Which evaluator does Savannah Tech recommend?

WES; any NACES-accredited evaluator is accepted (International students).

Does my bank letter need a translation?

Yes, if it is not in English, and it must be dated within three months (International students).

Can I translate my own transcripts for WES?

No. WES does not accept translations made by applicants (WES).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
