Requirements checked on October 27, 2026 from Savannah State's public pages (sources).
Savannah State University asks international applicants for official high school transcripts with a seal or original signature and, if they are not in English, a certified English translation of all documents; college credits earned outside the US must also be evaluated by a NACES member.
It does not say who must translate; Savannah State University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES evaluation comes from the agency, and we do not provide it.
Savannah State at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Savannah State says that if transcripts are not in English "you must submit a certified English translation of all documents", without restricting who translates (International Tigers); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Sample translation: a Brazilian university transcript
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Portuguese sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CPF, RG, MEC, D.O.U., CH, CR and ENADE are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, and only then.
- Status codes (AP, RM, RF, AE) are explained on first use, so a course failed and retaken the next term reads correctly.
- Grades, decimal commas and dates stay exactly as printed; the date format is noted once. Converting grades is the evaluator's job.
- Terms, rows and columns follow the original line for line, so each course can be matched at a glance.

All documents, not only the transcript
Savannah State's wording is broad: if your transcripts are not in English, you submit a certified English translation of all documents (International Tigers).
That covers the diploma, every year of marks and the sponsor's bank letter listed in the supplemental application checklist if it is in another language.
Academic records must carry a seal or an original signature, so translate the seal and signature block too.
A school official can email the official transcript to admissions; on request we can email the certified translation directly to the admissions office as well.
College credit from abroad
Applicants with college credits earned outside the US need a professional evaluation, and Savannah State accepts evaluations from any NACES member (International Tigers).
WES, a NACES member, asks for a word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not accept translations by applicants. See translation for credential evaluation.

Apply through Future Tiger, then mail the official transcript or have a school official email it to Undergraduate Admissions, with the certified translation of every document not in English (International Tigers).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Savannah State that means we translate your transcripts, diploma and bank letter; the NACES evaluation of college credit is ordered by you.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
