Requirements checked on October 28, 2026 from Randall's public pages (sources).

Randall University asks international applicants for official secondary and university transcripts with notarized translations if they are not in English, and transcripts from outside the US must also be evaluated by ECE, GCE, Josef Silny or WES; it does not say who must translate.

Randall University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary, and notarization can be added at checkout for $34.90 per order.

The evaluation itself comes from one of those agencies, which we do not provide.

Randall at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Randall's international admission page asks for notarized translations of transcripts not in English and does not restrict who translates (international admissions); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary, notarized at checkout, is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 28, 2026.

Sample translation: a Congolese secondary school transcript

This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with a fictitious student. The PDF starts with the signed certification page, and the translation follows the original line for line: every abbreviation is explained, stamps, seals and signatures are noted in brackets, and the grid stays the same, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice

  • Two school years in the same grid as the original: every subject, grading period, exam and total, so each grade can be read against its maximum.
  • The French rating abbreviations are translated (TB becomes VG, Very good), and every abbreviation is explained in a translator's note at the foot of the same page, including one the original never defines.
  • Dates are written the US way (the original's 02/07/2015 is February 7, 2015).
  • The photo, seals and signatures are noted in brackets where they appear.

Credits from outside the US are evaluated for acceptance on a Pass/Fail basis (catalog).

A notarized translation, then an evaluation

Randall uses the word "notarized" for the translations of both secondary and university transcripts, and the 2026-2027 catalog repeats the rule: transcripts completed outside the US must be translated into English and evaluated by an approved credential evaluation service (catalog). eVerbary's certified translation carries a signed statement of accuracy; add notarization at checkout and the translation is notarized as Randall asks.

Courses from outside the US are then accepted for credit on a Pass/Fail basis (Randall University 2026-2027 catalog (PDF)); the translation keeps the original grades exactly as recorded for the agency to read.

What each evaluation agency asks for the translation

Randall names four agencies, and their rules differ. WES wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator and does not translate itself.

ECE lets applicants prepare word-for-word translations and sells an $85 Translation Waiver.

Josef Silny asks for translators certified by ATA when the translation is made in the US, and GCE accepts only the issuing university, the Ministry of Education or an ATA-certified translator.

If you choose Josef Silny or GCE, eVerbary can assign a translator individually certified by ATA on request through a free quote; for WES or ECE, the standard certified translation, notarized, serves both Randall and the agency.

Documents applicants usually translate

  • Secondary school transcript and diploma
  • University transcripts and degree certificates
  • Bank statement for the $28,000 requirement
  • Affidavit of financial support

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to Randall

  • Submit the transcripts with their notarized translations to Randall Admissions with your online International Student Application, and send the same translation to the evaluation agency, which reports to Randall (International admissions).

  • eVerbary delivers a signed PDF; on request we can also email the translation directly to the admissions office.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Randall that means we translate and notarize your transcripts; the evaluation is ordered by you from ECE, GCE, Josef Silny or WES.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Randall accept a certified translation from eVerbary?

Randall asks for notarized translations and does not say who must make them (International admissions). An eVerbary certified translation with notarization added at checkout ($34.90 per order) meets that.

Which evaluation agencies does Randall accept?

ECE, GCE, Josef Silny and WES (International admissions).

Can eVerbary provide an ATA-certified translator for Josef Silny or GCE?

Yes, on request. Ask for a free quote and name the agency. ATA certifies Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian ($34.95 per page) and Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian ($44.95 per page) into English; no other languages.

How does Randall grade credits from abroad?

They are evaluated for acceptance on a Pass/Fail basis (Randall University 2026-2027 catalog (PDF)).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
