Deadlines (F-1)

Credit for degrees from abroad
Credit for prior learning lists CED and WES for international degrees and credits (credit for prior learning).
Notarized translations for every foreign document
Middlesex marks the diploma, the high school transcript, college transcripts and the English test with an asterisk that leads to one rule: only foreign documents accompanied by notarized English translations will be accepted (international admissions).
Proof of high school completion can be a copy of the diploma or an official copy of the transcript, so a translated diploma is often the shortest route.
Bank statements must be originals and no more than 30 days old when they arrive, which leaves little time; if they are in another language, order their translation as soon as the statement is issued. The I-134 Affidavit of Support needs a notarized signature too (International admissions).
Deadlines, mail and credit
The college must receive all materials by July 15 for fall and December 15 for spring, sent to the Enrollment Management Center in Lowell (International admissions).
Out-of-state and international students are admitted to programs on a space-available basis, and Health programs have selective admission with their own prerequisites.
For college work or degrees earned abroad, Middlesex's credit for prior learning page lists the Center for Educational Documentation and World Education Services under international degrees and credits (Credit for prior learning).
Agencies set their own translation rules; see translation for credential evaluation.

Uploading the translation to Middlesex
Send the notarized translations with the documents to Middlesex Community College, Enrollment Management Center, 33 Kearney Square, Lowell, MA 01852-1987, by the deadline; questions go to international@middlesex.edu (International admissions).
eVerbary delivers a signed PDF and, when notarization is added, the notarized copy; we can also email the translation directly to the admissions office on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Middlesex that means we translate and notarize your diploma, transcripts and bank statements; an evaluation from CED or WES for credit is ordered by you from the agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
