Requirements checked on October 27, 2026 from Lanier Tech's public pages (sources).
Lanier Technical College asks permanent residents and other applicants with foreign records for an official English translation of all secondary and postsecondary records and an evaluation by an independent NACES member, showing the equivalent of a US high school diploma or higher; it does not issue I-20s.
It does not say who must translate; Lanier Technical College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES evaluation comes from the agency, and we do not provide it.
Lanier Tech at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Lanier Tech's catalog asks for "an official English translation of all secondary and postsecondary records" without restricting who translates (catalog: international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Sample translation: a Mexican high school certificate
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Spanish sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CCT, CURP and the state abbreviation Jal. are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, so an evaluator does not have to look up a Mexican acronym.
- Courtesy and degree titles (C., Mtra., Lic.) are kept as printed and explained once; names keep both surnames in place.
- Grades stay on the 5-to-10 scale the certificate prints, with its minimum passing grade. Converting them is the evaluator's job.
- The six semesters keep the certificate's two columns, and the seal, signatures and QR code are described in brackets where they appear.

Lanier Tech requirements in detail
Translation
An official English translation of all secondary and postsecondary records (Catalog 2025-2026: admission procedures for international students).
Who may translate
Evaluation
By an independent evaluation service that is a NACES member, showing equivalence to a US high school diploma or higher (Catalog 2025-2026: admission procedures for international students).
Who it applies to
Permanent residents and other students with foreign transcripts; documentation of US high school equivalency is required for most programs (Catalog 2025-2026: admission procedures for international students).
Visas
Lanier Technical College does not issue I-20s (Catalog 2025-2026: admission procedures for international students).
A translation and an evaluation, for residents with foreign records
Because Lanier Tech does not issue I-20s, its international rule is written mainly for permanent residents and others already in the US.
They complete the regular admission steps and also furnish an official English translation of all secondary and postsecondary records plus an evaluation by an independent service; the evaluation must show your records equal a US high school diploma or higher, and the company must be a NACES member (catalog).
Most programs require documentation of US high school equivalency, so the high school diploma and transcripts are the first documents to translate.
One eVerbary certified translation can go to Lanier and to the NACES agency; WES, a NACES member, accepts translations from a professional translation service.
Need a certified translation for Lanier Tech?

Documents applicants usually translate
- High school diploma and transcripts
- College or university transcripts and degrees
- National exam certificates that complete secondary school
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Lanier Tech
Send the official translation with your records to Lanier Tech Admissions and order the NACES evaluation, which the agency sends to the college (Catalog 2025-2026: admission procedures for international students).
On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Lanier Tech that means we translate your records; the NACES evaluation of US high school equivalency is ordered by you.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
