How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026

Chattahoochee Technical College does not accept foreign transcripts sent by applicants or by schools abroad: every international diploma and transcript must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE agency, and documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.

The college does not say who must translate; Chattahoochee Technical College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The evaluation comes from the agency, and we do not provide it.

Chattahoochee Tech at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Chattahoochee Tech's transcript evaluation requirements say documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation, without restricting who translates (evaluation requirements); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. No transcripts from you or your school, only from the agency

Chattahoochee Tech is explicit: it does not accept foreign transcripts submitted by applicants or by schools outside the US.

Every international diploma and transcript goes through an approved evaluation agency, which sends the report directly or in an envelope it seals (International transcript evaluation requirements).

Documents not in English need a certified English translation, so translate the full high school diploma, transcripts and any college records before you open the agency file.

For high school, a general evaluation is enough, or a document-by-document one; for college credit or a degree from abroad, a course-by-course evaluation (International transcript evaluation requirements).

Chattahoochee Tech accepts any member of NACES or AICE and recommends four agencies, with its own application links for TEC and Josef Silny (International transcript evaluation requirements).

The Evaluation Company says an outside translator must be certified by the American Translators Association, and Josef Silny asks for ATA-certified translators in the US.

If you use either, eVerbary can assign an ATA-certified translator on request (see below). Agencies that accept professional translators, such as WES or ECE, are also NACES members.

Need a certified translation for Chattahoochee Tech?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.

Documents applicants usually translate

  • High school diploma and transcripts
  • College or university transcripts and degree certificates
  • Bank certification letter for sponsors outside the US
  • Passport and other F-1 documents, if not in English

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to Chattahoochee Tech

  • The translation goes to the evaluation agency with your records; the agency sends its official report to Chattahoochee Tech or seals it in an envelope (International transcript evaluation requirements).

  • F-1 applicants email the additional documents, including translated financial documents, in one message to InternationalServices@ChattahoocheeTech.edu (International admission information). On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.

If you need a translator certified by ATA

Some offices accept only a translator who is personally certified by the American Translators Association (ATA). eVerbary assigns one on request, for the languages ATA certifies into English:

$34.95 per page

Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian

$44.95 per page

Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian

To order it, ask for a free quote and write in the notes that the translation is for Chattahoochee Tech, which program it is for, and that you need a translator individually certified by ATA, plus anything else the office asks for (notarization, delivery by email to the office).

We confirm the price and the translator before you pay. ATA does not certify other languages into English, so no translator anywhere holds ATA certification for them.

For those languages we provide a notarized certified translation instead, at $44.95 per page plus notarization ($34.90 per order); ask the office to confirm it accepts that, and write its answer in the quote notes.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Chattahoochee Tech that means we translate your records and bank letters; the NACES or AICE evaluation is ordered by you from the agency.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
