How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026

Georgia Gwinnett College does not take foreign transcripts directly: freshmen submit a document-by-document evaluation of the high school transcript, with GPA, from a NACES member or InCred, and transfers a course-by-course evaluation of college work abroad; financial documents must be in English or carry a certified English translation.

GGC's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. You order the translation first and send it to the agency; the evaluation is something we do not provide.

GGC at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

GGC asks for an evaluation from a NACES member or InCred (international admission requirements), and WES, a NACES member, accepts a certified translation from a professional translation service (WES translation rules); GGC also asks for a certified English translation of financial documents not in English. Worth knowing about GGC

Not to GGC

Foreign transcripts go to the evaluator, not to Admissions.

GPA required

Freshman document-by-document evaluation with GPA.

InCred for athletes

Recruited athletes use InCred.

GGC requirements in detail

Translation

Transcripts go through the evaluation (International student admission requirements); financial documents must be in English or with a certified English translation attached (International student admission requirements).

Who may translate

For transcripts, set by the agency; for financial documents, not stated.

Freshman

Document-by-document evaluation of the high school transcript, including GPA, from a NACES member or InCred (International student admission requirements).

Transfer

Course-by-course evaluation of college work abroad from a NACES member or InCred; no high school evaluation with 30 or more transferable credits (International student admission requirements).

Athletes

Recruited varsity athletes submit an InCred evaluation (International student admission requirements).

Exceptions

Official high school documents may be accepted instead of an evaluation in cases of hardship (International student admission requirements).

Priority deadlines

Fall May 1, spring November 1, summer April 1 (International student admission requirements).

Foreign transcripts go to the evaluator, not to GGC

GGC tells applicants not to send foreign transcripts to Admissions: they go to the evaluation service, which shows US high school graduation equivalency in a document-by-document report that includes a GPA (International student admission requirements).

Agencies set their own translation rules. WES wants a professional, word-for-word translation and rejects translations by applicants; ECE accepts complete, word-for-word translations, including your own. Translate the full high school diploma and grades for the agency.

Bank documents: a certified English translation

After admission, GGC asks for proof of financial resources: a bank document with the official's signature or stamp, account number, currency and contact details, written in English or with a certified English translation attached; sponsors also sign an affidavit of support (International student admission requirements).

This is a GGC rule, not the agency's, so the translation goes to GGC with the bank letter.

  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For GGC that means we translate your records and bank documents; the NACES or InCred evaluation is ordered by you.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send my foreign transcript to GGC?

No. GGC asks you to send foreign transcripts to the evaluation service (International student admission requirements).

Which agencies does GGC accept?

Any NACES member or InCred; recruited athletes use InCred (International student admission requirements).
