Requirements checked on October 27, 2026 from Albizu's public pages (sources).
Carlos Albizu University asks international applicants to send an evaluation of their official transcripts from a credential evaluation service, and lists NACES members as suggested translation and evaluation agencies: Academic Evaluation Services, ECE, Josef Silny & Associates and WES.
Albizu's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
You order the translation first and send it to the agency with your transcripts; the evaluation comes from the agency, not from us.

Sample translation: a Brazilian university transcript
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Portuguese sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CPF, RG, MEC, D.O.U., CH, CR and ENADE are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, and only then.
- Status codes (AP, RM, RF, AE) are explained on first use, so a course failed and retaken the next term reads correctly.
- Grades, decimal commas and dates stay exactly as printed; the date format is noted once. Converting grades is the evaluator's job.
- Terms, rows and columns follow the original line for line, so each course can be matched at a glance.

Albizu requirements in detail
Translation
Albizu states no translation rule of its own; it calls its listed agencies "translation and evaluation agencies" (International students). The agency needs the translation before evaluating a document not in English.
Who may translate
Set by the agency: WES wants a professional translator; ECE accepts a literal translation, even your own; Josef Silny an ATA-certified one in the US.
Evaluation
An evaluation of your official transcripts, arranged by you with a credential evaluation service (International students).
Suggested agencies
Academic Evaluation Services (Tampa), Educational Credential Evaluators, Josef Silny & Associates (Miami), World Education Services, all NACES members (International students).
List date
Albizu says the agency information was verified in May 2020 (International students).
What each evaluation agency asks for the translation
WES asks for an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator, such as a certified translation agency, and does not translate documents itself.
ECE asks for complete, literal translations in the same format as the original and lets applicants prepare them; for $85 it sells a Translation Waiver, under which it translates internally for the report without delivering a translation to you.
Josef Silny & Associates, in Miami, accepts outside translations made in the US only from ATA-certified translators, and has its own translation department.
If you choose Josef Silny, eVerbary can assign a translator individually certified by ATA on request: ask for a free quote and say it is for Josef Silny and Albizu.
Academic Evaluation Services does not appear in the sources we read; ask it about translations before ordering.
Why Albizu asks for an evaluation
Albizu explains that evaluation services state the US equivalent of foreign education, because the same credential has different names around the world; its example is the Spanish-speaking bachiller, which corresponds to a US high school diploma.
You are responsible for contacting the agency and having your transcripts reviewed (International students). Translate the full record, including the diploma and the grading scale.
Need a certified translation for Albizu?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.
Documents applicants usually translate
- University transcripts and degree certificates
- High school diploma (bachiller) and transcripts
- Grading scale
- Bank statements, if not in English
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Albizu
The translation goes to the evaluation agency with your official transcripts; you then send Albizu the evaluation (International students).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Albizu that means we translate your records for the agency; the evaluation is ordered by you from AES, ECE, Josef Silny or WES.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
