The znalec, and the register
A Slovak court expert is a znalec entered in the ministry of justice register with a named field and branch, and the report states the registration number and the entry in the expert's own journal.
The journal entry number is a Slovak particularity: every expert keeps a numbered record of their reports, and the number ties the document to it. We reproduce both.
The expert clause
A Slovak report closes with a znalecká doložka stating the registration, the field, the journal entry and a declaration about the consequences of a knowingly false opinion.
Without it the document is not a znalecký posudok. We translate the clause in full, because it is what makes the report what it claims to be.
Binding, and the seal
The report is bound with a cord and sealed so pages cannot be substituted, and the expert applies a round seal with a state emblem and their registration.
A loose-leaf copy is not the instrument. We describe the binding and the seal rather than treating them as presentation.
The fields, and the diacritics
Slovak expert fields are defined in a national list with branches, and the report names both — which tells a reader precisely what the expert is registered to opine on.
