The stalni sudski vještak
A Croatian court expert is a stalni sudski vještak — a permanent court expert — appointed by the president of a county or commercial court for a renewable term, in a named field, after training and examination.
The appointment is to a court rather than a national list, and the report states the appointing court and the term. We reproduce both, because they are what a reader verifies.
The oath, and the stamp
Permanent court experts are sworn and hold a stamp and an identity card issued on appointment, and the report carries the stamp with the expert's name and field.
