The sudski veštak, and the register
A Serbian court expert is a sudski veštak appointed by the ministry of justice and entered in a register by specialty, and the report states the appointment decision and the specialty.
The appointment is national rather than court by court, and we reproduce the register details, which is what a reader verifies.
The findings and opinion
A Serbian report is structured as a nalaz i mišljenje — findings and opinion — with the findings setting out what was examined and established, and the opinion drawing the conclusion.
The two-part structure is deliberate: a court may accept the findings and reject the opinion. A translation that merges them removes that possibility, and we keep the division.
