The expert, and the party-appointed adviser
A Romanian court appoints an expert from lists held at the tribunal, authorised by the ministry of justice with a named specialty, and each party may appoint an expert parte to attend the work and file observations.
So a Romanian file may hold one court report and two party observations. They are different roles and we name which the document is.

The court fixes objectives — the matters to be examined — after hearing the parties, and the report answers each in order, recording the operations, who attended and the observations made.

The technical expertise fields
Romanian expertise is organised into defined technical specialties, with separate authorisation for accounting, construction, valuation, engineering and forensic medicine, and the report names the specialty.
Forensic medicine runs through the Institutul Național de Medicină Legală and its regional institutes, whose reports are institutional findings rather than individual opinions. We name the institute.
