Religious courts, and the get
Israel has no civil divorce, as it has no civil marriage. A Jewish divorce is granted by a rabbinical court and effected by the get, the bill of divorce written and delivered according to religious law; Muslim divorces run through a sharia court and Christian ones through the relevant church court.

Hebrew, Aramaic and two calendars
The get itself is written in Aramaic, in a fixed formulaic register — a different language in the same script, and not something a Hebrew translator handles by default.
