The carné de vacunación
Honduran childhood immunisation is recorded on a carné de vacunación stamped at the health centre (CESAR or CESAMO) that gave each dose, under the Secretaría de Salud programme.
Honduras gives BCG at birth. Doses are commonly given at a rural health centre rather than a hospital, and the stamp names it. We reproduce every entry with its date and the centre.
Two systems, and the private sector
Care runs through Secretaría de Salud facilities and the IHSS social security institute for insured workers, plus a private sector concentrated in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula.
Each keeps its own record. We name the institution on each document rather than presenting the set as one history.
Two identity numbers
The RNP conducted a national re-enrolment and issued a new identity document with new numbering, so a Honduran file may carry two different identity number formats for one person.
That is the re-enrolment rather than a discrepancy. We reproduce each as printed and say which document it comes from.
