Advance, and the Premises Rent Control Act
Bangladeshi practice requires an advance of several months against which rent is set off, and the Premises Rent Control Act limits what a landlord may take and provides for a rent controller to fix a standard rent.

Rent and advance are in taka and are frequently described in lakh, with digit grouping that places commas differently: 12,34,567 is 1,234,567.
