Western Texas College asks applicants who studied outside the US to have their records evaluated by InCred, its approved evaluation service, and requires certified English translations of any documents not in English before they are sent to InCred with the originals.

It does not say who must translate; Western Texas College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The InCred evaluation is ordered by you and sent by InCred to WTC; we do not provide it.

WTC at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

WTC says that if academic documents are not in English, "certified English translations are required" before you send them to InCred, without restricting who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

Sample translation: a Brazilian university transcript

This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Portuguese sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice

  • CPF, RG, MEC, D.O.U., CH, CR and ENADE are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, and only then.
  • Status codes (AP, RM, RF, AE) are explained on first use, so a course failed and retaken the next term reads correctly.
  • Grades, decimal commas and dates stay exactly as printed; the date format is noted once. Converting grades is the evaluator's job.
  • Terms, rows and columns follow the original line for line, so each course can be matched at a glance.

WTC requirements in detail

Translation

Certified English translations of academic documents not in English, before you send them to InCred (International students admissions).

Who may translate

Evaluation

Records from a high school or college outside the US are evaluated by InCred (International students admissions).

InCred option

Select the "Certified Copies" option; certified transcripts through InCred are required for WTC to finish admission (International students admissions).

Delivery

InCred sends the official evaluation directly to WTC; the application is incomplete until it arrives (International students admissions).

Fee

The application fee is waived once InCred approves your documents (International students admissions).

US records

US high school or college transcripts are sent by the school to WTC's registrar's office (International students admissions).

Translation, then InCred, then WTC

WTC works with a single evaluator.

Applicants who attended a high school or college outside the US have their academic records evaluated by InCred; if the documents are not in English, certified English translations are required before you send them, and both the original documents and the certified translations go directly to InCred.

Choose the "Certified Copies" option when you submit, because WTC needs certified transcripts through InCred to complete admission (international students).

InCred then sends the official evaluation directly to WTC, and the application is not complete until it arrives. WTC waives the application fee once InCred has approved the documents (International students admissions). Order the eVerbary translation first, so InCred receives a complete file.

What else WTC asks for

International applicants email the application, a copy of the passport biographical page and the other listed documents to WTC's international contact (International students admissions).

Records from US high schools or colleges are sent by the school to the registrar's office. Translate the high school diploma and every year of marks, and any college transcripts.

  • High school diploma and transcripts
  • College or university transcripts
  • Exam certificates that complete secondary school
  • Bank letters, if not in English

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to WTC

  • The certified translations go to InCred with your original documents; InCred sends its evaluation to WTC (International students admissions).

  • On request we can also email the translation to the admissions office.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For WTC that means we translate your records for InCred; the InCred evaluation is ordered and paid by you.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Which evaluation agency does Western Texas College accept?

InCred, its approved international credential evaluation service (International students admissions).

Do I translate before or after the evaluation?

Before. WTC wants certified English translations before you send documents to InCred (International students admissions).

Who may translate my documents?

WTC does not say (International students admissions). A certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary meets the rule.

Is there an application fee?

It is waived once InCred approves your submitted documents (International students admissions).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
