WCTC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
WCTC's F-1 application asks for complete and literal English translations of records not in English and does not restrict who makes them (F-1 application); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 26, 2026.

WCTC requirements in detail
Translation
Academic records not in English must come with complete and literal English translations (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Who may translate
Not stated (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Copies or originals
Only original or attested photocopies of original transcripts; everything submitted becomes WCTC property (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Proof of high school
Proof of secondary school completion showing a graduation or completion date (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Evaluation for admission
Not asked for on the F-1 checklist (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Transfer credit
International coursework needs a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member; ECE is given as an example (transfer credit).
Deadlines (F-1)
June 1 for fall, November 1 for spring; $100 nonrefundable application fee (International students, F-1 application).
A paper F-1 application with a literal translation
F-1 applicants submit WCTC's International Student Application, a PDF form, with the financial support form to the Global Education Center (international students).
The checklist asks for proof of secondary school completion that shows a graduation or completion date, and only original or attested photocopies of original transcripts; records in another language must come with complete and literal English translations (F-1 application).
Translate the whole record, stamps and grading notes included, so the completion date can be read in English; see high school diploma translation.
WCTC keeps what you send: transcripts submitted with the application become college property and are not returned (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)). Send attested copies rather than originals you still need.
Some associate degree programs are open to in-district students only, so check the list of programs open to F-1 students before applying (International students).
Credit for study abroad: placement, ministry recognition and a NACES report
To transfer courses taken outside the US, you need a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member; WCTC accepts no other report type (transfer credit).
Two conditions come first: you must complete a placement assessment before your international credits are evaluated, and the institution abroad must be formally recognized by its country's ministry of education or equivalent.
Only grades of C or better are reviewed, and at least 25 percent of your program must be completed at WCTC.
The evaluation agency sets its own translation rule; see translation for credential evaluation.

Documents applicants usually translate
- Secondary school diploma or completion certificate, with the completion date
- Secondary school transcripts or mark sheets
- University transcripts, for a course-by-course evaluation
- Bank statements and other supporting documents for the financial support form
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to WCTC
Send the F-1 application, the $100 fee and your documents, with their translations, to WCTC Global Education at 800 Main Street, Pewaukee, or contact global@wctc.edu (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
For foreign credit, the NACES agency's course-by-course report goes to WCTC, after your placement assessment (Transfer credits from other colleges).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For WCTC that means we translate your records; the course-by-course evaluation needed for transfer credit comes from a NACES member.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of translation does WCTC ask for?
Complete and literal English translations of records not in English; WCTC does not say who must make them (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)). A certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary qualifies.
Can I send photocopies of my transcripts?
Only attested photocopies of the original transcripts, or the originals (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Do I need a credential evaluation to be admitted?
The F-1 checklist does not ask for one; it is needed for transfer credit, course-by-course and from a NACES member (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
When are my foreign credits evaluated?
After you complete a placement assessment, and only from institutions recognized by their ministry of education (Transfer credits from other colleges).
Will WCTC return my documents?
No. Transcripts submitted with the application become WCTC property (F-1 international student application (PDF, wctc.edu)).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
