Redlands requirements in detail
Translation
A certified English translation must be attached if the transcript is not printed in English (International students).
Who may translate
Not stated (International students).
What the transcript shows
The date all secondary school requirements were met (International students).
Evaluation
International transfer students: foreign college transcripts evaluated by WES, provided with the official transcript (International students).
Deadlines
Fall June 1, spring October 1; no summer admission for international students (International students).
Bank statement
At least $18,900 in US dollars, stamped and signed by a bank or government official (International students).
The translation travels with the transcript
Redlands asks that the certified English translation be attached to the high school transcript itself, and that the transcript show the date you met all secondary school requirements (International students).
If your transcript lacks that date, add the diploma or completion certificate to the translation order. Applications missing any document are not processed.
Transfers: WES with the official transcript
Students transferring from colleges abroad send official copies of all college transcripts, and the international ones should be evaluated by WES, with the evaluation provided alongside the official transcript (International students).
WES asks for a word-for-word translation by a professional translator, such as a certified translation agency, and does not translate documents itself.
Need a certified translation for Redlands?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Redlands
Attach the certified translation to the transcript you send to Redlands Admissions with the rest of your documents (International students).
We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Redlands that means we translate your records; the WES evaluation of foreign college transcripts is ordered by you.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Redlands accept an eVerbary translation?
Redlands asks for a certified English translation and does not say who must make it (International students); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
Do I need a credential evaluation?
Only as a transfer student with college transcripts from abroad: a WES evaluation (International students).
When are the deadlines?
June 1 for fall and October 1 for spring; no summer admission (International students).
How much must the bank statement show?
At least $18,900, stamped and signed by a bank or government official (International students).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
