How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026
Quinsigamond Community College asks F-1 applicants for a PDF of the final high school transcript, diploma or exam certificate, with an official translation attached if it is not in English; it does not say who must translate.
Quinsigamond Community College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
Admission works from the translated record, but credit for a university abroad needs a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member such as WES or CED, which we do not provide.
QCC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
QCC's international page says that if documents are not in English, an official translation must be attached, without restricting who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. QCC requirements in detail
Translation
An official translation attached to any document not in English; all documents must be in English (International students, documentation packet).
Who may translate
Not stated (International students).
Academic record
A PDF scan or copy of the final high school transcript, diploma, or official council exam certificate (International students).
Evaluation for admission
Not listed; the translated record is what you submit (International students).
Credit from abroad
An evaluation agency such as WES or CED; the catalog requires a course-by-course evaluation from a current NACES member, subject to approval by the VP of Academic Affairs (catalog).
Immunization records
Must be in English; translated records go with a copy of the original (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
Deadlines (new F-1)
July 1 for fall and November 15 for spring (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
Scans and translations by email, no postal mail
QCC works from copies.
The application is free; you then submit a PDF scan or copy of your final high school transcript, diploma or exam certificate, with an official translation attached if it is not in English (international students).
The documentation packet adds that all documents must be in English, each submitted as an individual, legible PDF to international@qcc.mass.edu, and asks applicants not to send physical documents by post (documentation packet).
Send the translation as its own PDF next to the scan of the original, with the same file naming, so the international office can match them.
Immunizations and credit: two more places a translation is needed
Massachusetts law requires QCC to collect proof of immunizations from students on a student visa, within 30 days of registering. The records must be in English, and translated documents must be submitted with a copy of the original (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
To transfer credit from a university abroad, QCC asks for an evaluation agency such as WES or CED (International students).
The catalog is more specific: a course-by-course evaluation from a current NACES member, subject to approval by the VP of Academic Affairs, and only courses with a C or higher that apply to your QCC major (catalog).
Agencies set their own translation rules; see translation for credential evaluation.

Documents applicants usually translate
- Final high school transcript
- High school diploma or official council exam certificate
- Immunization records
- University transcripts, for a course-by-course evaluation
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to QCC
Email each document and its translation as individual PDFs to international@qcc.mass.edu; QCC asks for no physical documents by mail (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
eVerbary delivers the certified translation as a signed PDF, ready to attach; we can also email it directly to the admissions office on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For QCC that means we translate your diploma, transcript, exam certificate and immunization records; a course-by-course evaluation for credit is ordered by you from a NACES member.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Quinsigamond require a certified translation?
It requires an official translation attached to any document not in English, without saying who translates (International students). A certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
Do I need a credential evaluation to be admitted?
The international checklist does not ask for one; an evaluation is needed to transfer credit from a university abroad (International students).
Which agencies does QCC accept for credit?
A current NACES member approved by the VP of Academic Affairs, such as WES or CED (Catalog: student services and transfer credit).
Can I mail my documents?
No. QCC asks for individual PDFs by email (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
Do my vaccination records need a translation?
Yes, if not in English, with a copy of the original (International student documentation packet (PDF)).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
