How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026
Paris Junior College asks international applicants for the official high school transcript in the native language together with a certified copy translated into English, showing the completion date and equivalence to a US high school diploma; it does not say who must translate.
Paris Junior College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
An official course-by-course evaluation is needed only for foreign transfer credit, and that evaluation is something we do not provide.
PJC at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
PJC asks for the official transcript in the native language "along with a certified copy that has been translated into English" and does not restrict who translates (international students); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. PJC requirements in detail
Translation
The official high school transcript in the native language, with a certified copy translated into English; the packet asks for the English translation of all official transcripts (International students, admissions packet).
Who may translate
Not stated (International students).
What the transcript must show
The completion date, and equivalence to a US high school diploma (International students).
Evaluation
For foreign transfer credit only: an official course-by-course evaluation by a recognized agency (International students).
Agencies
The Evaluation Company is recommended, through a discounted PJC application; Atlas Credential Evaluations offers $15 off with code PJC15 (International students).
Packet
International application, statement of financial support completed by a bank, transcripts with translations and English proficiency (International admissions documents).
The transcript, in both languages
PJC reads the high school record itself.
You send the official transcript in its original language and a certified English translation of it; the transcript must show when you finished and be equivalent to a US high school diploma (International students).
The admissions packet repeats the rule for every official transcript, so translate college records too if you have them (International admissions documents).
Packets go to the international admissions contact listed on the documents page.
Foreign transfer credit: course-by-course
To have college courses from abroad counted, PJC requires an official course-by-course evaluation by a recognized agency before it considers transfer credit (International students).
It recommends The Evaluation Company, which wants an outside translator certified by ATA or translates in-house; for TEC, ask eVerbary for a free quote and say it is for TEC.
Atlas Credential Evaluations is also listed, with a $15 discount code.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to PJC
Include the original-language transcripts and their certified English translations in your international admissions packet (International admissions documents).
We can send the translation directly to the admissions office by email on request.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For PJC that means we translate your transcripts; a course-by-course evaluation for transfer credit is ordered by you from TEC, Atlas or another recognized agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Paris Junior College accept an eVerbary translation?
PJC asks for a certified English translation and does not say who must make it (International students); a certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
Do I need a credential evaluation for PJC?
Not to be admitted; only for foreign transfer credit (International students).
Which evaluation agency does PJC recommend?
The Evaluation Company, with a discounted PJC application, and Atlas with code PJC15 (International students).
Can eVerbary provide an ATA-certified translator for TEC?
Yes, on request through a free quote: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian at $34.95 per page, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Croatian, Danish and Persian at $44.95. ATA certifies no other languages into English.
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
