How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
NHTI requires documents not in English to come with an official, notarized translation, and it does not say who must translate them; transfer credit for college courses taken outside the US needs a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member.
NHTI, Concord's Community College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary; add notarization at checkout for $34.90 per order. The NACES evaluation is something we do not provide.
NHTI at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
NHTI's international admissions page asks for "an official, notarized translation" of documents not in English and does not restrict who translates (international student admissions); a notarized certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. NHTI requirements in detail

Who may translate
Not stated (International student admissions).
High school record
Official transcript or equivalent, sent directly by your prior school; scans, photocopies and faxes are not accepted otherwise (International student admissions).
Transfer credit
College coursework outside the US needs a course-by-course credential evaluation from a NACES member (International student admissions).
Deadline
All materials at least 90 days before the semester, or the program deadline for competitive allied health programs, whichever is first (International student admissions).
English
TOEFL iBT 4.0 or IELTS 6.0, sent by the testing agency (International student admissions).
Fee
One-time $100 international student admissions fee (International student admissions).
Official, notarized: what NHTI asks for
NHTI's rule is short: if the documents are not in English, they must be accompanied by an official, notarized translation (International student admissions).
It applies to the high school transcript every applicant submits, and to any college transcript you send.
NHTI does not say who must translate, so a certified translation with a notary's seal meets the wording; order it with notarization so the file is complete the first time.
The transcript itself has to come from your prior school: NHTI does not accept scanned, photocopied or faxed transcripts unless the school issues them directly to NHTI, and many schools can send them electronically (International student admissions). The translation goes with it.
Timing and college credit
International applicants must have everything in at least 90 days before the semester begins, or by the program deadline for competitive allied health programs if that comes first (International student admissions).
NHTI issues I-20s only for on-campus associate degree programs.
If you want credit for college courses taken abroad, add a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member; the agency needs your translated transcript before it starts.
Need a certified translation for NHTI?
$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.
Documents applicants usually translate
- High school diploma and transcripts
- National exam certificates that complete secondary school
- College or university transcripts, for transfer credit
- Bank letters and sponsor documents, if not in English
What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to NHTI
Your prior school sends the official transcript to NHTI admissions; you send the notarized translation with your other application documents, by the 90-day deadline (International student admissions). For transfer credit, the NACES agency sends its course-by-course report to the Admissions Office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For NHTI that means we translate and notarize your records; the NACES course-by-course evaluation for transfer credit comes from an evaluation agency.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does NHTI need the translation notarized?
Yes. Documents not in English need an official, notarized translation (International student admissions); eVerbary adds notarization for $34.90 per order.
Who may translate my documents for NHTI?
NHTI does not say (International student admissions); a notarized certified translation from a professional service meets its wording.
Can I send a scan of my transcript?
Not unless your prior school issues it directly to NHTI (International student admissions).
When must my documents arrive?
At least 90 days before the semester starts, earlier for competitive allied health programs (International student admissions).
Do I need a credential evaluation?
Only for transfer credit from college courses outside the US: a NACES course-by-course evaluation (International student admissions).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
