How we know · policy checked on October 26, 2026
Midlands Technical College in Columbia asks F-1 applicants for official, translated and evaluated transcripts of the highest school level they completed, using an evaluation service from the NACES member list, plus a recent bank statement in English.
Midlands Tech's evaluation agencies, such as WES, ECE and IERF, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
You order the translation first and send it to the agency with your records; the evaluation itself is something we do not provide.

What NACES agencies ask for the translation
Midlands Tech links the NACES member list, so the translation rule is the agency's. WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator and rejects translations by applicants.
ECE accepts complete, word-for-word translations in the original format, including your own, or translates for its report only under an $85 waiver. IERF asks for typed, line-by-line translations and may require a professional one.
Your highest level, translated and evaluated
Midlands Tech asks only for the highest school level you completed: if that is high school, the high school diploma and transcripts; if you studied at a university, those records (International students: admission requirements).
They must be official, translated and evaluated. The bank statement is a separate requirement: it must be recent and in English, so translate it close to the date you apply.
Need a certified translation for Midlands Tech?

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Midlands Tech
The translation goes to the NACES agency with your records, and the evaluated transcripts go to Midlands Tech with your F-1 application (International students: admission requirements).
Questions and supplemental forms go to the international admissions contact listed on the page (International students: admission requirements). On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Midlands Tech that means we translate your transcripts and bank statement; the NACES evaluation is ordered by you.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
