Merrimack at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Merrimack's international application steps ask for a secondary school transcript with an official English translation, without saying who makes it (application process); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. What first-year applicants send

Merrimack's steps are short: the application with a 650-word essay, the Secondary School Report, a transcript of every secondary year with an official English translation, proof of English proficiency, one teacher or counselor recommendation, and the Declaration of Finances with a notarized bank letter (application process).

With all of it in hand at decision time, including a passport copy, Merrimack issues the I-20 with the offer. Missing items appear in the application portal.

Graduate applicants

For graduate programs, anyone who attended a college or university outside the US needs an official course-by-course evaluation; any NACES member is accepted, with WES, ECE and The Evaluation Company recommended, and the report must be sent directly to Merrimack Graduate Admission (graduate FAQ). The translation goes to the agency with your records.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Merrimack that means we translate your transcripts and bank letter; the graduate NACES evaluation comes from an agency.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
