How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Lindenwood University asks applicants who attended school outside the US to check ECE's website for the documents their country requires and upload them, with a certified English translation if they are not in English; it does not say who must translate, and it stresses this is not a request for an ECE evaluation, which high school records usually do not need.
Lindenwood University accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. University transcripts from abroad do go to ECE for a course-by-course evaluation, which is something we do not produce.
Lindenwood at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Lindenwood says that if your documents "are not in English, we also require a certified English translation" and does not restrict who translates (international admissions requirements); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Who may translate
Not stated (International admissions requirements).
Which documents
Those ECE's website lists for your country; select it in the drop-down menu (International admissions requirements).
High school evaluation
Not requested; in most cases ECE evaluations are not required for high school transcripts or exams (International admissions requirements).
University transcripts
Sent to ECE for a course-by-course evaluation, listing Lindenwood as recipient, at your cost (International admissions requirements).
Deadlines
First-year and international transfer: May 30 for fall, November 30 for spring; no summer start for new international students (International admissions requirements).
ECE's list, without the ECE fee
Lindenwood borrows ECE's country-by-country documentation list to tell you which school records to submit, and is careful to say that this is not a request for an ECE evaluation; in most cases high school transcripts and exams do not need one (International admissions requirements).
You look up your country on ECE's site, upload those documents to your application status page, and add a certified English translation for each one not in English. Lindenwood's own transcript review then takes 3 to 5 business days.
University records: ECE course by course
If you attended a university outside the US, Lindenwood does want an ECE evaluation: request a course-by-course report, list Lindenwood University as recipient, keep a copy, and pay the fee yourself (International admissions requirements).
ECE accepts any complete, literal translation, including a professional certified one, or translates internally for an $85 waiver. Applications for fall close May 30.

Uploading the translation to Lindenwood
Upload the school documents and their certified translations to your application status page (International admissions requirements). University records go to ECE, which sends its report to Lindenwood.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Lindenwood that means we translate your records; the ECE course-by-course evaluation of university study is ordered by you from ECE.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an ECE evaluation of my high school records for Lindenwood?
In most cases no; Lindenwood uses ECE's site only as a document list (International admissions requirements).
Who can translate my documents?
Lindenwood asks for a certified English translation and does not say who must make it (International admissions requirements). A certified translation from a professional service qualifies.
What about my university transcripts?
Send them to ECE for a course-by-course evaluation listing Lindenwood as recipient (International admissions requirements).
Can I start in summer?
No, Lindenwood does not admit new international students for summer (International admissions requirements).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
