How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026
Laramie County Community College publishes no translation rule of its own: international applicants submit official evaluations of every secondary and college transcript from a NACES member, a general equivalency report for high school and a course-by-course one for college.
LCCC's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.
You order the translation first and send it to the agency; the agency writes the evaluation, which we do not provide.

LCCC requirements in detail
Translation
LCCC states no translation rule; transcripts from abroad reach it through a NACES evaluation. The translation is what the agency needs before it can evaluate a document not in English.
Who may translate
Set by the evaluation agency (see below).
Evaluation
Official evaluations from a NACES member for each secondary school and college attended: general equivalency for high school, course by course for college (LCCC: international student application process).
Finances
The confidential financial statement with an original bank letter or sponsorship letter; no photocopies (LCCC: international student application process).
Deadlines
Complete file by July 1 for fall and December 1 for spring; new international students start only in those terms (LCCC: international student application process).
Where to send
Mail everything to the Office of the Registrar, 1400 E. College Drive, Cheyenne (LCCC: international student application process).
What each evaluation agency asks for the translation
LCCC accepts any NACES member and points to the NACES list (international application). WES wants a word-for-word translation by a professional translator or service and not the applicant, and does not translate itself.
ECE accepts complete, literal translations in the original's format, lets applicants translate themselves, and sells an $85 Translation Waiver. Other members have their own rules; check before you order the translation.
Two reports for two kinds of records
LCCC wants a general equivalency evaluation of the high school record and a course-by-course evaluation of any college study abroad (LCCC: international student application process), so an applicant with both orders two reports, often from the same agency.
The whole file, I-20 documents included, has to be complete by July 1 for fall or December 1 for spring, so translate first and leave the agency time to report.

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to LCCC
The translation goes to the NACES agency with your records; the agency sends the evaluation to LCCC. The application, financial statement and health forms go by mail to the Office of the Registrar in Cheyenne (LCCC: international student application process).
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For LCCC that means we translate your records for the agency; the general or course-by-course evaluation is ordered by you from a NACES member.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does LCCC require a certified translation?
LCCC itself publishes no translation rule; it requires NACES evaluations of all transcripts (LCCC: international student application process), and the agency sets the translation rule.
Which evaluation type does LCCC want?
General equivalency for high school and course by course for college transcripts (LCCC: international student application process).
When are LCCC's international deadlines?
July 1 for fall and December 1 for spring (LCCC: international student application process).
Can I send a copy of my bank letter?
No. LCCC asks for an original bank letter or sponsorship letter (LCCC: international student application process).
Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?
No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
