A certified translator, named in the catalog
KVCC's catalog lists the international application steps: apply online, submit official copies of academic transcripts, and have every document translated to English by a certified translator, at your own cost (catalog).
It does not name an agency or ask for an evaluation. Translate the high school diploma and transcripts and any college records, with every stamp and grade.
After you apply
F-1 students must enroll in 12 credits each semester, no more than three of them online, and send TOEFL scores or take the ESL placement; KVCC then prepares the I-20 (KVCC 2026-2027 course catalog (PDF)).
Once you are accepted, your college transcripts are evaluated for transfer credit according to your program (Submit your application). For questions, KVCC's Enrollment Services Center is at (207) 453-5822.

What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
