How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026

Keiser University asks international applicants to have their official secondary records evaluated by an approved educational evaluator service attesting that they equal US high school completion, and foreign college credit goes through the same kind of evaluation; its Flagship campus and Graduate School name NACES members.

Keiser's evaluation agencies, such as WES and ECE, accept certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary.

You order the translation first and send it with your records to the agency; the evaluation itself is something we do not provide.

Keiser requirements in detail

Translation

Keiser sets no rule on who translates. The Flagship campus says transcripts must be translated into English and evaluated by a NACES-approved organization (Flagship campus: international students).

Who may translate

Set by the evaluation agency: WES wants a professional translator; ECE accepts any word-for-word translation.

Evaluation (admission)

Official records evaluated by an approved educational evaluator service, attesting completion equal to US secondary school (International students admissions).

Transfer credit

An evaluation by an approved evaluator attesting course equivalency, sent to the Dean; C or better; Keiser may test you before granting credit (International students admissions). The Flagship campus recommends a NACES member (transfer evaluations).

Graduate (online from abroad)

A foreign transcript evaluation through a NACES-approved vendor, in English, with a cumulative GPA (Graduate School).

English

TOEFL iBT 61 or IELTS 6.0 (International students admissions); the Flagship campus also takes Duolingo 95 (Flagship campus: international students).

Timing

Apply at least two months before the program starts (International students admissions); Flagship scholarship priority dates May 1 for fall, November 15 for spring (Flagship campus: international students).

What the agencies ask for the translation

Keiser's Flagship campus puts the two steps in one sentence: transcripts must be translated into English and evaluated by a NACES-approved organization, and its admission checklist asks for an official translated and evaluated high school transcript (Flagship campus).

The agency you choose decides who may translate.

WES wants an exact, word-for-word translation by a professional translator, such as a translation agency, does not accept translations by applicants and does not translate documents itself.

ECE accepts complete, word-for-word translations, including your own, and sells an $85 translation waiver. Order the translation first, so the agency file is complete when you open it.

High school equivalency, campus by campus

Keiser evaluates foreign secondary education, not only college work: the university-wide page asks for official records evaluated by an approved service attesting that completion equals US secondary school, and asks applicants to request applications through the Admissions Office at least two months before the program starts (international admissions).

For credit from a college abroad, the Dean must receive an evaluation of official transcripts attesting course equivalency; the Flagship campus recommends a NACES member (Flagship campus: transfer evaluations).

Graduate students studying online from their home country need a NACES evaluation with a cumulative GPA showing an equivalent US degree (Graduate School: international students).

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to Keiser

  • The translation goes to the evaluation agency with your records; at the Flagship campus, transcripts and the evaluation are sent by email or to 2600 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409 (Flagship campus: international students).

  • On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Keiser that means we translate your records; the evaluation is ordered by you from an approved or NACES agency.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Keiser require a credential evaluation of my high school record?

Yes. Official records must be evaluated by an approved educational evaluator service attesting equivalency to US secondary school completion (International students admissions).

Which agencies does Keiser accept?

The Flagship campus and the Graduate School ask for a NACES member (Flagship campus: international students, Graduate School: international students); confirm the list with the campus you will attend.

Will my college credits from abroad transfer?

Only after the Dean receives an evaluation attesting course equivalency; courses need a C or better, and Keiser may test you first (International students admissions).

What English score do I need?

TOEFL iBT 61 or IELTS 6.0 (International students admissions).

Will eVerbary convert my grades to a US GPA?

No. The translation reproduces the grades and the grading scale exactly as they appear. A GPA conversion is credential evaluation, which the institution or an evaluation agency does.
