How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026

Harding University sends applicants with non-US records to International Education Evaluations (IEE): first-time freshmen from a high school abroad order the Document report + GPA, and transfers from colleges abroad the Education Report; Harding publishes no translation rule of its own.

Harding's evaluation agency, IEE, accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. You order the translation first and send it to IEE; the evaluation itself is something we do not produce.

Harding requirements in detail

Translation

No rule of its own; IEE needs the translation (International student admissions).

Who may translate

Set by IEE: a certified translator, not the applicant or a notary public; university or embassy translations from your home country are generally accepted (IEE).

Evaluation

Freshmen from a non-US high school: IEE "Document report + GPA", $120. Transfers from non-US colleges: IEE "Education Report", $145 (International student admissions).

Deadlines

Fall: apply by June 1, all items by July 1. Spring: apply by October 1, items by November 1 (International student admissions).

Deposit

A $1,000 refundable international deposit before acceptance (International student admissions).

English

TOEFL 550 paper or 70 internet-based, or IELTS 6.0 (International student admissions).

What IEE asks for the translation

Harding works with a single agency, so IEE's rule is the one that matters: translations must come from a certified translator, and IEE will not accept translations by the applicant, a notary public or a translator who is not certified (IEE).

IEE also sells its own translations from $60 per page; a certified translation from eVerbary is $24.95 per page and can be uploaded with your IEE application.

Pick the right IEE report

Harding names the exact option: if you are finishing a high school abroad, the $120 Document report + GPA; if you attended college abroad, the $145 Education Report (International student admissions).

Applicants at US schools send transcripts from the school instead. Admission is considered only once every item, including the deposit, is in.

Need a certified translation for Harding?

$24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages. See the price before you pay.

Documents applicants usually translate

  • High school transcript and diploma
  • College or university transcripts
  • Degree certificates, if any
  • Immunization records, if not in English

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to Harding

  • Upload the translation with your records in your IEE application at myiee.org; IEE sends the report to Harding. Passport and immunizations go to admissions@harding.edu (International student admissions).

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Harding that means we translate your records for IEE; the IEE report is ordered and paid by you.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I translate my own documents for IEE?

No, IEE does not accept translations by the client (IEE).
