How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026

Endicott College asks international first-year applicants for an official secondary record with an English translation if it is not in English, and may ask for a NACES evaluation (SpanTran recommended); college or university records must include one.

Endicott College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. For graduate applicants the NACES evaluation includes the translation to English, and the evaluation is something we do not provide.

Endicott at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Endicott's international admission page says an English translation is required if the original transcript is not in English, without saying who makes it (international admission); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Endicott requirements in detail

Translation (first-year)

English translation required if the original transcript is not in English (International student admission).

Who may translate

High school evaluation

Only if Endicott asks; it reserves the right to request a NACES evaluation and recommends SpanTran (International student admission).

College records

Must include a credential evaluation by a NACES-certified agency (International student admission); foreign-language documents must be translated into English (transfer).

Graduate

Official original transcripts and translations showing courses, grades, grading scale and degree, plus a NACES evaluation including translation to English (graduate international).

Deadlines

February 1 to apply, documents by February 15, decision by March 15 (International student admission).

High school records: translation now, evaluation only if asked

For a first-year applicant Endicott starts from the translated record: an English translation is required if your transcript is not in English, and Endicott contacts you only if it decides your credentials need a NACES evaluation (international admission).

College or university records are different: they must include a NACES evaluation from the start, with SpanTran as the recommended agency.

The Admission Review Committee looks at no application until every item is in, and documents are due February 15.

Graduate applicants

For master's programs, every transcript and every translation must be an official original showing courses, grades, grading scale, length of study, the degree and the date it was conferred, and the NACES evaluation includes the translation to English (graduate international).

SpanTran offers Endicott applicants a custom application at a discount. Check with the agency whether it accepts a professional translation you supply or translates as part of its service.

What an eVerbary translation includes

  • A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
  • Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
  • $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.

Uploading the translation to Endicott

  • Undergraduate materials go to the Office of Admission with the application; ask admission@endicott.edu how to send the translation (International student admission). For college and graduate records, the translation also goes to the NACES agency.

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Endicott that means we translate your records; the NACES evaluation for college and graduate records comes from an agency such as SpanTran.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Endicott require a translation of my high school transcript?

Yes, an English translation if it is not in English (International student admission).

For high school records only if Endicott asks; for college records, yes (International student admission).
