Requirements checked on October 27, 2026 from Concordia Irvine's public pages (sources).
Concordia University Irvine asks that every transcript not equivalent to a US one arrive with a certified English evaluation by a NACES member and an official translation documenting coursework, exams, grades with passing and maximum marks, and secondary graduation; it has no translation or evaluation service of its own.
It does not say who must translate; Concordia University Irvine accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary. The NACES Detail Report comes from the agency, and we do not provide it.
Concordia Irvine at a glance
Does it accept eVerbary? Yes
Concordia Irvine asks for "an official translation" with the NACES evaluation and does not restrict who translates (international admission); a certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. Policy checked on October 27, 2026.

Sample translation: a Brazilian university transcript
This is what an order looks like when it is delivered, with invented names, school and numbers. The original in Portuguese sits next to our English translation, and the PDF starts with the signed certification page. Bracketed text in the translation is a translator's note: each abbreviation is spelled out the first time it appears, and the layout follows the original line for line, so an admissions officer or a credential evaluator can match it without guessing.

What to notice
- CPF, RG, MEC, D.O.U., CH, CR and ENADE are spelled out in brackets the first time they appear, and only then.
- Status codes (AP, RM, RF, AE) are explained on first use, so a course failed and retaken the next term reads correctly.
- Grades, decimal commas and dates stay exactly as printed; the date format is noted once. Converting grades is the evaluator's job.
- Terms, rows and columns follow the original line for line, so each course can be matched at a glance.

Concordia Irvine requirements in detail
Translation
An official translation documenting coursework, exams taken, grades with passing and maximum marks, and evidence of secondary graduation (International admission).
Who may translate
Not stated; Concordia has no translation or evaluation service (International admission).
Evaluation
A certified English evaluation by a NACES member for transcripts from outside the US; none for US high schools (International admission).
Report type
Detail Report or Course Report with a Course Analysis; General Reports are not accepted (International admission).
Suggested agencies
IEE, TEC and IERF; transfers with a non-English high school transcript are pointed to IERF (International admission).
Delivery
Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or sealed envelope to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 1530 Concordia West, Irvine (International admission).
Deadlines
Fall: June 1 from outside the US, July 1 inside; spring: November 1 and December 1 (International admission).
What the translation has to document
Concordia Irvine lists the contents it expects, for first-year and transfer applicants alike: your coursework, the examinations you took, the grades received including passing and maximum marks, and evidence that you graduated from secondary school (International admission).
Translate the grading legend and the leaving exam certificate, not only the list of subjects; a high school diploma translation covers the graduation evidence.
Concordia states that it does not translate or evaluate records itself and that records must reach it in English; if your school does not issue an English version, the transcripts go through a NACES company (International admission).
A Detail Report, not a General Report
Concordia does not accept General Reports: ask for a Detail Report or a Course Report with a course analysis (International admission). It suggests IEE, TEC and IERF.
Each agency sets its own translation rule: IERF asks for typed, word-for-word translations and may require a professional one; IEE wants a certified translator, not the applicant; The Evaluation Company asks that an outside translator be certified by ATA, which eVerbary can arrange on request through a free quote.
Transfer applicants from colleges abroad need a NACES evaluation of the college transcripts and also of the high school record; transfers from US colleges need only the high school evaluation (International admission).

What an eVerbary translation includes
- A complete English translation of every page, stamps, seals and handwritten notes included, laid out like the original so each line can be matched.
- Grades exactly as recorded, with the grading scale the document prints. We never convert marks to a US GPA.
- A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.
- $24.95 per page of up to 250 words, certification included; 24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Regular clients who need it can get delivery in as little as 30 minutes, on request.
Uploading the translation to Concordia Irvine
Apply in Concordia's online portal, then have official transcripts sent by Parchment, the National Student Clearinghouse or mail in a sealed envelope to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions; the official translation and the NACES evaluation must arrive with them (International admission).
On request we can email the translation directly to the admissions office.
What we do not do
eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.
For Concordia Irvine that means we translate your transcripts and diplomas; the NACES Detail Report is ordered by you, for example from IERF or IEE.
How to order
- Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
- Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
- Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
Frequently asked questions

Which evaluation report should I order?
A Detail Report or a Course Report with a course analysis; General Reports are not accepted (International admission).
Can eVerbary provide an ATA-certified translator for TEC?
