How we know · policy checked on October 27, 2026

Albertus Magnus College asks international undergraduate applicants for their secondary transcript, diploma and test scores with a notarized English translation, and for a document-by-document evaluation from any NACES member, WES preferred; it does not say who must translate.

Albertus Magnus College accepts certified translations from professional services such as eVerbary, and notarization can be added at checkout for $34.90 per order. The NACES evaluation is something we do not provide.

Albertus at a glance

Does it accept eVerbary? Yes

Albertus's international admission page asks for the transcript, diploma and test scores "with notarized English translation" (international students) and does not restrict who translates; a notarized certified translation from a professional service such as eVerbary is that kind of translation. A notarized translation and an evaluation

Albertus asks for two things for a secondary school record from abroad.

The transcript, the diploma and any test scores come with a notarized English translation, and the record is also evaluated document by document by a member of NACES, with WES named as the college's preferred service (international students).

The catalog adds that Albertus reads foreign credentials against the standard program of the applicant's country and that having documents translated is the applicant's responsibility (catalog).

Order the translation with notarization first, then send the same translated set to WES or another NACES member for the evaluation; WES itself asks for a professional, word-for-word translation of records not in English (see translation for WES).

Where Albertus's pages differ

The admissions page requires a notarized English translation for every applicant with records from abroad (admissions page), while the undergraduate catalog says a "bona fide" English translation might be required of official transcripts, and elsewhere that translation is needed if Admissions or the Registrar asks (catalog: international students, catalog: credential translation). A notarized certified translation satisfies both readings.

College credit and graduate study

If you completed a degree at an institution outside the US that is not regionally accredited as recognized by the US Department of Education, Albertus asks for a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member instead (International student admission).

Transfer students with transcripts from a college abroad have them evaluated by a NACES member (transfer), and graduate applicants submit an evaluation from a NACES-affiliated company (graduate catalog).

  • A signed certificate of translation accuracy on letterhead, with our contact details, delivered as a PDF you can upload.

Uploading the translation to Albertus

  • The notarized translations go to the Admissions Office with your application documents, and the same set goes to the NACES agency, which sends its evaluation to Albertus (International student admission).

What we do not do

eVerbary is a translation service, not a credential evaluation service: we do not issue evaluations, US equivalencies or GPA conversions, and we cannot send documents on behalf of the school that issued them.

For Albertus that means we translate and notarize your records; the document-by-document or course-by-course NACES evaluation is ordered by you, for example from WES.

How to order

  1. Scan or photograph every page of the document, front and back, including any stamps on the reverse.
  2. Upload it, choose the language and "certified", and see the price before paying.
  3. Receive the PDF, usually within 24 hours for one to three pages, and upload it with the copy of the original wherever the institution asks for it.
